The winter 2025 O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center magazine is now available online.
The cover story of this issue of this edition of the O’Neal Cancer Center magazine focuses on the efforts of Vestavia Hills High School’s RISE Program, a student-run service program that has raised over a million dollars for cancer research since 2019. From creative fund-raising campaigns to the impact RISE has on cancer research, the article digs into the ways that RISE has impacted the work done here at the O’Neal Cancer Center.
Other stories from the winter 2025 magazine include one patient’s story of navigating a bone marrow transplant during her leukemia treatment, highlights from ArtBLINK 2024 and a spotlight on the A Family Affair windshield tour organized by the Office of Community Outreach and Engagement.
