UAB Breast Cancer Team presents at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium

UAB’s Breast Cancer Team presented at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) December 5 through December 9, 2023. SABCS is a scientific conference for researchers, heath care providers and specialists dedicated to disseminating research findings on breast cancer, with a focus on prevention and care.

At the event, Erica Stringer-Reasor, M.D., delivered an education presentation titled “When to Transition to Cyotoxics” on treatment post-CDK 4/6 inhibitors.

Additionally, UAB’s Breast Cancer Team member Ameer Mansur also presented a poster titled “(PS05-04) [89Zr]Trastuzumab-PET/MRI to Characterize HER2+ Breast Cancer: A Quantitative Approach on Tumor Heterogeneity.” Poster contributors included Ameer Mansur, BS; Moozhan Nikpanah, M.D.; Johnathan E.
